Call for papers (International)

    The Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development Conference, also referred to as the TISD conference, is hosted every two years by the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Both national and international session are organized in TISD2008. The conference attracts numerous researchers and practitioners from the academic, public and private sectors. In addition to the official program, there are plenty of opportunities for informal discussions. TISD provides an excellent opportunity for active and dynamic science and engineering researchers to exchange and disseminate new knowledge, research experiences and professional expertise, and create linkages among the participants for mutual benefits.
   The 2nd Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development Conference will be held in Khon Kaen, Thailand from January 28th to January 29th, 2008
   The TISD committee's mission is to enhance sustainable development of the nations in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) which largely relies on the advancement of various science, engineering, and technology disciplines. It is imperative that technology and innovation of these disciplines should be in close interrelationship with the concept of sustainable development and simultaneously retain good quality of life and friendly environment. The academic accomplishment, professional expertise, and efficient applications of advanced technologies and innovation greatly play important roles in economic and social development of Thailand and other GMS countries
